Instruct PartnerRegistration is now open for the next edition of the Macromolecular Crystallography and CryoEM School, taking place in Madrid from March 23 to 27, 2026.
Since 2010, this workshop has been organized at the Instituto de Química Física Blas Cabrera (CSIC) and is designed for 25 graduate students and researchers with prior expertise in crystallography and/or Cryo-EM who seek deeper insight into advanced structural biology techniques.
The program covers key topics such as sample preparation, structure solution, model building, crystallographic refinement, validation, and analysis of structural results, along with an overview of the latest advancements in structural biology. Additionally, this edition will include: The impact of Artificial Intelligence on structure solution and low-resolution refinement, Dynamic Crystallography at XFEL and synchrotron facilities, Ligand Building for drug discovery.
Participants will also have the unique opportunity to learn from and interact with world-leading researchers in Macromolecular Crystallography and Cryo-EM, who will share their expertise.
