two exciting job opportunities at the Institute of Food Chemistry, Leibniz University Hannover, Germany.
They have shifted away from food chemistry after I took over the Institute in 2023 and are (actually) focused on structural biology and natural product research. We have built a productive crystallography suite and next Tuesday, installation of our brand new 200kV cryo-EM begins.
As such, we have two open positions for cryo-EM enthusiasts:
1 permanent position to manage the new facility, teach etc. The German title would be "Akademischer Rat/Rätin", my new right-hand person.
1 fixed-term, three year post for a PDRA.
