A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Shee-Mei https://www.loksheemeilab.com/ Lok in the Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore. The postdoctoral fellow will work on studying in situ virus structures, with a specific focus on flaviviruses such as dengue and Zika viruses.
Our lab uses the cryoEM facility at the National University of Singapore (10 minutes’ drive away). The cryoEM facility currently houses G1 and G4 Titan Krios microscopes and also the Arctis system for high throughput cryo-FIB milling.
The candidate should have a PhD degree with experience either in cryoEM or crystallography. Experience in cryo-FIB milling and subtomogram averaging is preferred, although not absolutely necessary.
