The International Conference on X-ray Microscopy (XRM) is a biennial event that has brought together experts in X-ray microscopes, imaging methods, and related techniques since 1983. Featuring lectures, research presentations, posters, exhibitors, and networking opportunities, XRM highlights the latest advancements in X-ray microscopy technology and its applications across various scientific fields.
The 17th edition of the conference, XRM 2026, will take place from August 30 to September 4, 2026, in Campinas, state of São Paulo, Brazil. It will be hosted by the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS), part of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM). LNLS is home to Sirius, Brazil’s most advanced scientific infrastructure, which will be open for guided visits during the event.
The conference will be held on the CNPEM campus, where attendees will have the opportunity to explore the Sirius storage ring, beamlines, and support laboratories while enjoying a welcoming and dynamic research environment.
