We are pleased to announce the Decoding Protein Function Through Structure and Engineering Meeting, which will be held in Rome, Italy (Aula Convegni CNR) from September 16 to 18, 2026.
The Meeting is jointly organized by the National Research Council (CNR), Sapienza University of Rome, and IRCCS San Raffaele in Milan, with the patronage of the INPEC (International Nodes of Protein Engineering Centers) network, the SIB Protein Group, the CNR, and the AIC (Italian Association of Crystallography).
The scientific program includes internationally recognized experts in the field and sessions dedicated to the analysis of protein function and evolution through structural, biophysical, and engineering approaches. The program aims to promote the integration of cutting edge experimental and computational techniques for understanding protein structure and function, offering a forum for interdisciplinary discussion between structural biologists, biochemists, biophysicists, and molecular engineers.
On the conference website you will find the scientific program and all information regarding registration and abstract submission (registration opens March 2, 2026).
Four scholarships are available, promoted by the SIB Proteins Group and AIC, for the participation of their Young Members (under 35).
