Date: 09-Dec-2026 to 12-Dec-2026
Very pleased to announce an upcoming
2026 Stanford-SLAC CryoEM Center (S2C2) Data Processing Workshop on single-particle cryoEM and cryoET image processing, hosted by the Stanford-SLAC CryoEM Center (S2C2) on
December 9 - 11, 2026. This workshop will be in a hybrid format (virtual and in-person at SLAC) and at no cost to attend. It’s designed for researchers who have prior experience in cryoEM structural determinations and would be interested in gaining practical insights into complex heterogeneity analysis, cryoET data processing, and more.
The workshop instructors include Ali Punjani and Team (CryoSPARC), Ellen Zhong and Team (CryoDRGN), Muyuan Chen (EMAN2) and Shawn Zheng (AreTomo3). The workshop will feature the image processing fundamentals, the latest development in solving structural heterogeneity, continuous conformational dynamics, tilt series alignment, and sub-tomogram averaging. The instructors will provide their unique perspectives and solutions to address current challenges in high resolution CryoEM/ET data analysis.
Please follow this
application link to apply. In-person attendance is limited, so we encourage you to apply at your earliest convenience. Early acceptance for in-person participation will be sent out by November 1 or earlier.
For scientific questions, please contact Dr. Amy Liu, and for registration and local lodging questions, please contact Mrs. JoAnn Polizzi. For more information, please check out the
