We are pleased to invite you to The 21st International Microscopy Congress (IMC21) 2026. The conference will take place from 31 August to 4 September 2026 in Liverpool, UK.
The vision for the congress is that it will provide a global platform for speakers and delegates to share impactful and outstanding research that will inspire new generations of microscopists, promote new collaborative directions across the diverse scientific disciplines and contribute to the advancement of microscopy.
To honour Liverpool’s rich culture and diverse history, IMC21 intends to integrate key values of Collaboration & Integration, Diversity & Inclusivity and Excellence & Innovation, into every aspect of the congress to create a truly inclusive experience. Which will leave a legacy of scientific excellence and global impact, drawing from a theme focusing on nurturing the next generation of microscopy scientists through a thoughtfully designed Early Scholars Programme.
